What is nature..?
Recently revealed by Graham Hancock in his documentary series, it seems that the Amazon itself seems to have been enticed into being with the help of human hands - man-made middens or ‘compost heaps’ have been found within the Amazon rain forest.
So what I’ve thought to be ‘natural’ all this time may not be pure nature doing its thing, but nature doing its thing in tandem with humans who’ve been wise enough to study how mother nature works, using biomimicry to provide food in a way that’s sustainable. The theory is, just like within Permaculture, if you work with mother nature you can simply forage for food forever, for free. No reliance on subsidies!
More on permaculture another time. But I highly recommend you check out the Hancock documentary which I saw when I still watched Netflicks, and another documentary, on You Tube, that you can watch that for. It’s called The Story of Permaculture documentary 2024’.
I’ll leave you with one of my permaculture works - art made from nature, created in tandem with mother nature…many of the dyes I’ve made have come from plants and flowers I’ve consciously planted in order to create the dye. Just one example of the permaculture way of sustainability.
